Are you a filmmaker or photographer driven by a passion for social and environment-focused storytelling?
The 2025 Sustainability Prize program, launched by Creo and Sony is now open and ready for submissions! This exciting initiative is part of Creators for the Planet, a global year-round engagement programme set up by Sony Pictures and the United Nations Foundation, developed in collaboration with Creo, that seeks creators highlighting the world’s most pressing challenges with a specific focus on sustainability. Creators for the Planet aims to mobilize and inspire people to act now through photography and film.
Filmmakers and photographers from across the globe are invited to submit works that address topics ranging from environment, accessibility, and diversity, equity and inclusion.
Each winner will receive $5,000, Sony digital imaging equipment and promotion to an audience of over 1 million people. The winners’ work will also get the chance to be honored at a showcase hosted by the United Nations Foundation and Sony Pictures.
From stories of local conservation efforts to innovative solutions to combat climate change to personal stories illuminating the power of diversity, equity and inclusion, this is your chance to amplify your message on a global stage.
